Three Possible Cap Casualties That Could Help The Bucs
1 min read
The Bucs have a lot of holes on both offense and defense, here are some possible cap casualties they should take a look at.
1. Robert Quinn, DE: Quinn isn’t the same player that racked up 19 sacks some years ago, but he’s still productive. Last season he had 6.5 sacks, 38 tackles, and 2 FF. Quinn would be a welcome addition to the D-LINE.
2. Alvin “Bud” Dupree, LB: Dupree would be perfect for the Bucs new defensive scheme. He can play any LB position, but played at ROLB last season. Dupree had 5.5 sacks, 3 PD, and 42 tackles. He is 6’4″ 269lbs, and great against the run.
3. Ronald Leary, LG: At 6’3″ 320lbs, Leary is a force to be reckoned with, in the running game, but after 6 games he went down with an Achilles injury. If he can fully recover, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind a switch to RG to help this rickety O-Line.
