From the looks of things, rehab is going well for Kwon Alexander as he recovers from ACL surgery.

According to an article by the Rotowire Staff titled “Buccaneers Kwon Alexander: Progressing in Recovery” posted on www.cbssports.com, “Alexander posted a video on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday highlighting his progress as he rehabs from a torn ACL. Barring any setbacks, the star linebacker appears to have a chance of fully recovering for the start of the 2019 season”.

Here is that Twitter video from 4 days ago:

There is still a question that remains on whether or not the Bucs will re-sign Alexander during the offseason, as his rookie contract has expired.

Seeing as how the defense could be changing to a 3-4 hybrid style defense, I would like to see him return.

Once again, there were a lot of injuries on defense during the 2018-2019 season. Alexander is the captain of the defensive ship, the play caller, so losing him early on in the season definitely hurt the team. If the Bucs and Alexander can get a deal done during this offseason, Alexander should be back and ready to go in Tampa.

Go Bucs!
