Word of the Day: Family
1 min read
Bruce Arians officially became coach of our Tampa Bay Buccaneers today. Throughout his press conference, there was a connection that was unmatched from any other coach in Bucs history. He told some great information, but the one word I heard that stuck out to me, was the word family.
Family is important to the Bucs. If you listened to any of the Bucs post-game winning speeches, they all had a theme, and that was family. Arians stated that the number one word in his vocabulary is family. That mentality, mixed with having the right winning mentality, will be the spark that will light the fire that is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. At the end of the press conference, former Buccaneer great Jimmie Giles stated that he loved the family mentality that Bruce stated. Arians clearly has the love of the former players, current roster, fans, and of course the ownership.
While no one can predict where the Bucs will end up record wise this season, you can believe that today was the first of many huge steps that the Bucs will have going forward. There will be success and failure, but we are all apart of the family now, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
