How can they overlook the Buccaneers?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be the most overlooked 4–1 team in the NFL right now. They’ve quietly stacked wins, handled the opponents they were supposed to beat, and even took a close loss to a tough Philadelphia team. Last week, they flew across the country and came out with a hard-fought win in a hostile environment — the kind of victory that shows a team’s toughness and coaching discipline.

What’s even more impressive is that they’re doing all of this shorthanded. Mike Evans, Bucky Irving, and multiple offensive linemen have missed time, yet Todd Bowles’ team continues to execute and find ways to win. The defense has been physical and opportunistic, Baker Mayfield is playing some of the most efficient football of his career, and the young pieces on both sides of the ball are developing fast.

It’s time for the national media to start giving the Buccaneers the respect they’ve earned. When this roster gets healthy, Tampa Bay isn’t just a good story — they’re a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
