Trey Palmer is HIM

Bucs WR Trey Palmer | fox13news.com
Pre-season is a chance for rookies aspiring to make a 53-man roster to showcase their talents in game situations for coaches and general managers. Rookie, Trey Palmer, is no different than the other rookies, the only difference is he has produced tremendously for the Bucs in his first two NFL games.
The sixth-round selection out of Nebraska was considered amongst many analysts to be a steal of GM Jason Licht and the Bucs. Palmer, who set the Nebraska single-season record with 1,043 yards, and his 71 receptions in a season ranks 2nd in program history.
Palmer, who has 5 receptions for 66 yards and two touchdowns in limited action this pre-season, could be a viable third option for either Mayfield or Trask after the season-ending injury to Russell Gage last week. The rookie could also be an asset on special teams in either returner position.
With days before cuts begin and the team inches closer to the 53-man mark, Palmer looks to once again make a statement as the Bucs take on the Ravens this Saturday night in the team’s final pre-season game. If the team is looking for that next player that demands respect from opposing defenses, TREY PALMER IS HIM.
