The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added 4th-year running back Patrick Laird to the roster following the loss of running back Kenjon Barner to IR, according to Scott Smith of the team’s official media.
Laird, out of the University of California, Berkeley, signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent rookie in 2019. Over the past 3 seasons with the Miami Dolphins, he’s played in 37 games, carrying the football 76 times for 244 yards and 1 touchdown. He had played a role in the Dolphins’ passing game, catching 36 passes for 289 yards.
During his 5 seasons at the Univesity of California, Berkely, Laird rushed for over 2,150 yards and 14 touchdowns while also catching 99 passes for 608 yards and 5 touchdowns.
