Tampa Bay Buccaneers To Pick Up LB Devin White’s Fifth-Year Option

White was drafted #5 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft and has been nothing but outstanding. He’s played in 45 games thus far, starting in all of them. He’s recorded 359 total tackles, 242 solos, 15 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 6 fumbles recoveries for 119 yards, and 2 for touchdowns. He also has 10 passes defended and 1 interception. He is an exceptional player.
The team has not officially picked up the option; however, they are expected to do so in the next couple of months. The deadline is May 2nd, expect them to get it done before then. His fifth-year option will cost 11.374 million dollars, according to Overthecap.com.
