The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to do without Shaquil Barrett for the next few weeks due to knee injury, so the team looks to add some help. The Buccaneers add Elijah Ponder to the practice squad.
Ponder, who is an undrafted free agent out of the University of Cincinnati, had a short stint with the team earlier this season. Ponder was with the team through training camp and preseason and signed to the practice squad on September 20th, 2021, as a replacement for LB LaDarius Hamilton, who signed with the Packers.
With Shaq Barrett sidelined next few weeks with injury, Bucs are bringing back outside linebacker Elijah Ponder to their practice squad. Undrafted rookie from Cincinnati was with them in training camp and preseason.
