The Bucs May Get Another CB Back For MNF

In addition to the news that cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting could come off of the IR for Monday night’s game comes the news that cornerback Dee Delaney has cleared concussion protocol. Neither of the aforementioned cornerbacks is guaranteed to play Monday night, as Sean Murphy-Bunting has not currently been activated off of the Injured Reserve — which still could happen before the game. Dee Delaney, who was in concussion protocol and now cleared, will likely be on hand on Monday night; whether he plays or not is a different story. The decision on both cornerbacks will be a game-time decision but could be activated at any time. If neither play Monday, the Buccaneers will still have Ross Cockerell, Pierre Desir, Jamel Dean and can move safeties around if needed, but I’d expect to see Delaney not on the inactive list for Monday night.
More good news on the injury front for Bucs: Cornerback Dee Delaney has been cleared from concussion protocol and can play in tonight’s home game against the Giants.
