It’s no secret that there has been a majorly injury bug on the Buccaneers since the season began. The trend of starters not being able to play due to injury continues in week seven. The team has officially announced that LB Lavonte David, WR Antonio Brown, TE Rob Gronkowski, and CB Richard Sherman are out for Sunday’s games against the Bears.

OLB Jason Pierre-Paul did not practice all week but Bruce Arians stated that he is still in play to be able to go on Sunday. The team did receive some good news for the secondary as well. Antoine Winfield Jr. cleared concussion protocol and is set to return on Sunday.

Even with injuries hitting the team, the Buccaneers currently sit at 5-1 and first in the NFC South. Two more games and then the bye week for most of the injured players to get healthy and return.
