Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians spoke to media today and disclosed that several players did not practice on Wednesday. Gronk, O.J. Howard, Antoine Winfield Jr., Richard Sherman, J.P.P., Lavonte David, and Antonio Brown.
Antonio Brown suffered an ankle injury during the game against the Eagles last week, and Lavonte David has been suffering from an ankle injury for several weeks now. Gronk is still healing from fractured ribs; Richard Sherman has a hamstring injury that will keep him sidelined for the next couple of weeks. J.P.P. still has a lingering hand injury and a bit of shoulder stinger, and Antoine Winfield Jr. is still in concussion protocols. O.J. Howard‘s injury is undisclosed.
It’s just the second day of practice, so several of them could return as the week ticks on. Bucs head coach has his finger crossed that a few of the guys, including Gronk, will be ready to go for the game against the Chicago Bears. Antoine Winfield Jr. could clear concussions protocol later this week.
