Carlton Davis III to Miss At Least Three Weeks on IR

Carlton Davis heads to the Injured Reserve, according to Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com. Davis had been dealing with few injuries before entering into Sunday’s game in New England and sustained a quad strain while on special teams. The injury is just a pulled muscle and should only take 3-4 weeks to heal — which we disclosed on October, 5th.

The Buccaneers could decide to keep him off of the field until after the bye-week as a precautionary measure; however, the IR stint is a minimal of 3 weeks. We could see him back sooner than week 10.
