The Buccaneers just keep getting bad news on the injury front. Today, the team announced that OLB Jason Pierre-Paul is not making the trip to Foxborough and has been ruled out. I’m addition, CB Carlton Davis III has been updated to questionable on the injury report with an abdomen and ribs injury.
The depth of the reigning super bowl champions is being tested early on in the season due to injuries. Shaq Barrett and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka have to step up and get pressure in place of Pierre-Paul and if Davis III cannot go, then Richard Sherman is thrown into the fire right away.
