On Sunday, Buccaneers WR Scotty Miller suffered a severe case of turf toe in Los Angeles. This injury caused the team to place him on injured reserve which would keep Miller out at least three weeks.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Buccaneers may have lost Miller for the season because of turf toe. On the season, Miller has two receptions for 11 yards, both of which came against the Rams.
If Miller is lost for the season, second year WR Tyler Johnson slides into the fourth WR spot on offense. Johnson had three catches for 63 yards including a 31 yard reception on a perfectly placed pass by Tom Brady against the Rams. Johnson is solid enough to step into that fourth WR spot which also presents an opening for rookie WR Jaelon Darden to get some snaps on offense in certain packages.
