Bringing You The Best News

R.I.P. Cody Williams

1 min read

On September 4th, I got messaged some very bad and shocking news; news that my 30-year-old friend passed away.

Cody was as nice of a guy as they came. He was never a mean spirit and a friend to everyone. If you ever came to WTB tailgates, you would know the kind soul that he was. He would always make moonshine for all of us. I won’t lie either, that moonshine is some of the best I’ve ever had. He would always share great stories and make everyone laugh.

Not only was his heart kind, but he was also part of our great charity What The Buc, and took part in all of the charity work we did, and always there to lend a hand; always with a smile.

Our tailgates won’t be the same without him, and I’m sure he is organizing watch parties in heaven as we read this! He will be sorely missed by every one of us.

I want to send good thoughts and prayers to his awesome mom Jackie, who is also part of What The Buc, and I know her really well. She is where Cody got his big heart from, and to his love Chantal, our thoughts and prayers are with you. All of Buccaneers’ Nation is here for you!

R.I.P. Notorious B.U.C. with the number 90 on his game-day jersey. I love you, my krewe brother.
