T.J. Logan injured and carted off of the field.
2 min readBuccaneers running back T.J. Logan was carted off of the field today after being tackled in a running play. The injury occurred following a skirmish between Ryan Jensen and Nacho. The two may have been unrelated. However, tempers are flaring in this Florida heat. The unfortunate injury comes just several days after head coach Bruce Arians spoke so highly of Logan, not as a returner, but as a running back.
One play after a skirmish broke out between offensive and defensive linemen during 11-on-11 drills, running back T.J. Logan had to be carted off the field with an apparent right leg injury after he was taken down from behind by linebacker Quinton Bell. – Per Eduardo A. Encina of The Tampa Bay Times
“I really couldn’t point out any specific one. T.J. Logan has looked really, really good running the ball and catching the ball. People don’t really realize him as a running back, but he’s a hell of a running back, and he’s not just a return man. He had a heck of a morning this morning.” – Via Buccaneers Zoom meeting 8/17/2020
A good amount of shouting came from both sides after it was broken up. The next play RB T.J. Logan was tackled on a run and went down awkwardly and had to be checked out. Evans was beyond upset at the defense about it. He was pulled back by Leftwhich while shouting at the D. https://t.co/RnecWWdtjo
