Chris Godwin was drafted by the Buccaneers in the 3rd round of the 2017 NFL Draft, although many scrutinized this selection, that scrutiny quickly turned into praise. Now, it seems that Tom Brady is beginning to sing those praises.

Brady has had his fair share of weapons over the years, but in recent times that hasn’t exactly been the case. However, this year, Brady will have all the weapons in the world. After last season’s performance, Godwin put his name in the hat as one of the league’s top receivers. Mike Evans, last year, went on record singing praises to Godwin, stating that, We don’t have a 1 and 2; we have a 1A and 1B.“

Although Godwin suffered a hamstring injury that ended his season, he still ranked 3rd among all NFL wide receivers. The third-year receiver may have finished the season early, but he still managed to haul in with 86 receptions on 121 targets for 1,333 yards and 9 touchdowns, earning him PFF’s top grade of 90.7. Imagine what he will accomplish with Tom Brady.

In this Tweet below, you can see Brady’s excitement for what is to come this season as he replied to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp video boasting 12 –> 14. There should be no shortage of TD passes this year as we saw last year that there was plenty of touchdown passes thrown by the Bucs former league leader in passing yards and number two in the league for TD passes thrown, QB Jameis Winston.

Brady’s response surely indicates that there will be plenty of looks Godwin’s way and plenty of scores to be had.
