Ever since the arrival of Tom Brady, the spotlight definitely is shining brightly over the Bucs. The 14-time Pro Bowler may be coming off a “down season” according to his high standard, but at least one NFL coordinator believes the 6-time Super Bowl champion has some gas left in the tank.
“Tampa is gonna be really f–king good. Good defense, more weapons than Brady’s ever had—very similar to when Peyton went to Denver.”
After speaking with more than 50 NFL personnel, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler asked them to rank the best players at each position, and to no surprise, the 43-year old came in seventh
According to one NFL coordinator interviewed, “Tampa is gonna be really f–king good. Good defense, more weapons than Brady’s ever had—very similar to when Peyton went to Denver.” Nothing surprising that there’s another Bucs QB being compared to Manning, only this time it involved success instead of turnovers.

Unlike Manning, Brady will be surrounded by pure talent as the Bucs were already equipped with Pro Bowl wideouts Mike Evans and Chris Godwin along with rookie Tyler Johnson, tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate, running backs Ronald Jones II and rookie Ke’Shawn Vaughn. They already were a Top-5 offense the last 3 years; then the Bucs traded for Brady’s main target in 3 of his 6 Super Bowls, Rob Gronkowski, and put not just the division, but the whole league on notice.
