Jordan Leggett Jokes About Gronk Buying #87

After the awe wore off from yesterday’s blockbuster trade, one began to wonder how long it would be before Gronk was assigned his number, and would it be the number 87? Buccaneers tight end Jordan Leggett jokingly Tweeted that he would give Gronk his number for a cool $1 million then later Tweeted I’d probably have to pay Gronk to take the number.

I got a kick out of the tweet as did thousands, but in reality, it happened. Gronk will now wear the number 87, and Leggett will wear number 81. I am still in disbelief that the Buccaneers made the trade for Gronk. As for the million dollars, I’m sure it’s still resting the bank.
