Buccaneers Franchise Tag Shaq Barrett

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have used their first franchise tag since 2012,  when they placed the tag on kicker ConorBarth. This comes as no surprise as it had been believed for some time to be the smartest move for the Buccaneers.

The tag will pay Barrett roughly 4 times what he made last season. Kudos to Tampa for making the right choice.
