This Bucs team may be eliminated from the playoffs, but that shouldn’t be the talk. The talk should be how this team has played these last five games. They are 4-1 in their last five contests, the loss being, well New Orleans (which can be justified).
This team has won it’s last four games (Arizona, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Indianapolis). Games the Bucs could have just as easily lost as they’ve done plenty of times in the past.
Culture change leads to wins
When Bruce Arians took the job back in January, the first words out of his mouth were “culture change”. So far, he has done a helluva job. Yes the team struggled heavily on both sides, Jameis was up and down, and so on; but he did more than just play “quarterback whisperer”, he became the “team whisperer”.
Arians vs Patricia
Sunday’s game against the Lions (3-9-1) is a test, as Bruce Arians will be facing off against Matt Patricia, who was an essential piece to the Patriots Super Bowl defenses. This will be the first time the two have met as head coaches. Neither coach faced each other as coordinators back in the day. It’ll be an exciting game, to say the least.
The game can’t get here fast enough, and for us Bucs fans, it’s a great feeling knowing we could make it four wins in a row.
