Warriors, come out to play!

*Opinion Editorial*

For the first time this season, Breshad Perriman had truly earned his game check. Tying Mike Evans for the most receptions with 5, and leading the team in receiving yards with 87, Perriman also caught Winston’s longest completion on the day, a 32-yard grab. Before this game, Perriman has had a couple of nice grabs; however, in my opinion, he has not turned in a complete game of any significant importance.

Disbelief

Honestly, I didn’t see this one coming. Nothing he has shown so far in 2019 would lend one to believe he was capable of putting anything near 100 yards in the Box Score. It wasn’t that long ago that he was running over Dare Ogunbowale as he came in motion against the Titans. I honestly thought he would be released the next day. Somehow though, he held on to a spot. Now he has proven that he can be an asset on a day when Evans and Godwin don’t play superhuman. After all, even superheroes get a day off every now and then.

The “Stone Handed Streak”

I think we all were a little surprised that the “Stone Handed Streak” showed some softness in those fingertips as at least one of those five receptions was a beauty. We need nice surprises like that at times. It appears that the Bucs are starting to have more good surprises and stories than bad ones. That is the kind of thing that signals that a team is starting to turn things around. It’s a sight for sore eyes and a blessing for sure. The kind to be thankful for during the Holiday Season. Go Bucs!!
