Key to Beating the Saints: High Pressure!

The key to victory, in my opinion, is this: Pressure, pressure, and more pressure!

In the Saints’ loss to the Falcons and Drew Brees’ first game back from an ankle sprain, Atlanta sacked him (6) times and pressured him all game.

The Saints running game was totally shut down with their high-flying Kamara, attempting (4) carries for (24) yards and as a team only producing (52) yards on (11) carries.

The Bucs need to use this recipe! Stop the run and for the Saints to pass!

The Bucs defense is number one in the league, only allowing (77.8) yards per game!

This strategy to stop the run and force the Saints to be one dimensional is the way to go according to the numbers I’ve seen.

It is, however, a healthy Drew Brees we are going up against, and he’s usually pretty deadly against any pass rush.

With that being said, I still believe the way to go is to stop the run, force the pass and hope Drew is off his game!
As always, Go Bucs!
