We all saw the horrific injury sustained by Linebacker, Jack Cichy in the Week 4 victory over the LA Rams. Initially, news came out that Cichy would only be sidelined temporarily and the injury wasn’t as bad as it looked.
As many predicted here at Bucs Life Media and many others across social media, that injury has ended the season for the up and coming Linebacker. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today places Cichy on Injured Reserve for the 2nd time in as many years. Drafted out of Wisconsin in the 6th round of the 2018 draft, hopes had been high for Jack Cichy and he was showing promise of his potential. Unfortunately, his first season was ended early by an ACL injury and again in 2019 by the elbow injury sustained on special teams duty.
In the wake of Cichy being moved to IR, the available roster spot has been filled by TE Jordan Leggett. Although fans might be surprised to see a 5th TE being added to the active roster, those fans should be aware that the only two healthy Tight Ends are Antony Auclair and rookie, Tanner Hudson. Both Howard and Brate are suffering from injuries and could remain questionable all the way to the game in Seattle.
