Kyle Riddle’s 3 Players to Watch Against the Saints

1 min read

1. Jordan Whitehead: Whitehead has played exceptionally so far this season and has shown he’s deadly in the box. He may only be 198lbs, but he hits like a Mac Truck when coming downhill. He will definitely be vital in shutting down Kamara and the Saints running game.

2. Jameis Winston: Winston has had 3 solid games in a row and has looked like a completely different QB, playing nearly mistake-free football. If the reigning offensive player of the week can make it 4 in a row, the Bucs have a very good chance to beat the Saints.

3. Vita Vea: It might not show it on the stat sheet, but Vea is having one hell of a year. The Bucs NT has the perfect blend of size and speed, which commands double and triple teams from the opponent’s offensive line. Without Vea, accompanied by Suh, Shaq Barrett doesn’t likely have 9 sacks heading into Week 5, and the Bucs run defense wouldn’t be anywhere close to what it is now. Look for Vea to shut down the Saints running game completely, which would put the game in Bridgewater’s hands.
