The Buccaneers trade for Steelers offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins

According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Buccaneers will swap draft positions in later rounds of the 2021 NFL draft. The Buccaneers will, in fact, receive a 7th round draft pick for the 2021 NFL draft and the Steelers get a 2021 6th round pick in the deal.

Hawkins could be solid depth. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL draft out of LSU where he played for only one season.

Hawkins has had run-ins with injury which placed him on IR ending his 2018 season and played in only 5 games in 2017. Stat book-wise there is not much to the guy, but Arians saw something in him, and we do need back up tackles.
