Jack Cichy off the PUP list and rearing to go.

Selected in last years (2018) draft out of Wisconsin, his career took a quick hit when he was injured filling in for Kwon Alexander last year in week 7, which was the same game that Kwon went down. One game, two ACLs, two linebackers is gone for the season. Fast forward, and the work of the great physician, time, has brought Jack full circle. He’s off the PUP list and chomping at the bit to get back on the big stage. Just a note, Cichy missed his Senior Season with the Badgers with a knee injury. So it’s fair to say that the injury bug has tried to set up camp with Jack. Greg Auman of The Athletic tweeted Tweeted:
“Bucs linebacker Jack Cichy, held out of last week’s preseason opener as part of his recovery plan coming off ACL surgery, continues to make progress and said he’ll make his preseason debut Friday night against Miami. Good news as he competes for a backup LB job”
Knowing his injury history, the Bucs Coaching staff will have the last word on his availability to play in game 2 of the Bucs preseason. Hopefully, he can put some time together without injury, as many believe he can be a good player for us when he’s able to accomplish that feat.
