When asked about the timetable on JPPs injury, Bruce Arians didn’t mince words,
“He is such a freak healer. I wouldn’t put it past him to be ready then. The doctors still say October. He’s on his original time, so no setbacks, knock on wood. I would think it’s at least 5 months, maybe six.”
That timetable would be if JPP opts out of surgery, but a fractured neck vertebra is a very serious injury. To some, it’s a career-ender. I know Arians is optimistic, but I don’t see JPP back till the start of the 2020 season.
