The Buccaneers have announced the signing of third-round pick Jamel Dean today. With this signing, all but one of the eight picks have been signed, and Devin White should put pen to paper here in the very near future.

Dean’s four-year deal will likely be around the same $3.4 with a base of $495k that Mike Edwards received.

Dean will make noise during training camp as he joins a very talented group of cornerbacks all vying for playing time in the coming season.

“Jamel is a big guy. Obviously, I know the talk is how he blew it up at the Combine, ran very fast, but he plays a physical game. He’s a really good press guy, he’s a really good tackler and he’s a really sharp kid too as well.” – Jason Licht (Draft Day 2)
