Buccaneers Waive Shaun Wilson

1 min read

The Buccaneers have waived the second year running back Shaun Wilson today. Wilson was used sparingly last season, recording 20 yards on six carries and receiving the ball three times for five yards. however, he did return the ball seven times for 122 yards which showed promise as a kick returner for the team.

The running back position is deep with Peyton Barber, Ronald Jones II, Andre Ellington, and Dare Ogunbawle.

Wilson being waived leaves the roster currently at 89 meaning there could be a new signing announced here in the near future along with the signing of Devin White and Jamel Dean.
