Former NFL Receiver Nate Washington Joins the Bucs Coaching Staff
1 min read
Washington was an 11-year veteran receiver in the NFL (2005-2015) playing for three different NFL teams. He was picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2005 where he played in 44 games, starting 7, catching 104 passes for 1,705yards, and 12 TDs in 6 seasons.
He went on to play in 96 games, starting in 86, for the Tennessee Titans. He caught 307 passes for 4,591 yards, and 28 TDs.
He then went on to play one season for the Texans where he started in 14 games, catching 47 passes for 468 yards and 4 TDs.
Although unspecified, at the moment, as to what his position is going to be on the coaching staff, Washington sure does know a thing or two about the wide receiver position. He is sure to be an asset to the offense. He joins fellow former teammate at Pittsburgh Antwaan Randle El who is already on the coaching staff.
Blessings keep flowing and I won’t stop praising God for opened doors! Super excited for the opportunity to learn and grow‼️ #Blessed pic.twitter.com/7ybA4W5SGm
