Per Pewter Report: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have hired NFL veteran Offensive Coordinator Tom Moore as a paid offensive consultant.
Tom Moore most recently served as the Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Consultant with the Arizona Cardinals, holding that position for 4 seasons under current Buccaneers Head Coach Bruce Arians. Moore had previously worked with Arians in Indianapolis where he served as Senior Offensive Assistant, Offensive Consultant, and Senior Offensive Coordinator for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. Moore was not new to Indianapolis though, as he had already previously worked on their coaching staff as their Offensive Coordinator from 1998 through 2008.
Along with his stints on the Cardinals and Colts, Moore has also worked as a Receivers Coach with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Running Backs Coach with the New Orleans Saints, Offensive Coordinator for the Steelers and Lions, was the Assistant Head Coach for the Vikings for three seasons, and has worked as a Coordinator or Consultant for the Lions, Jets, and Tennessee Titans.
With more than 5 decades of experience in coaching on both the Collegiate and Professional level, there isn’t a position or role within a team that Moore is not familiar with or unable to provide an expertise that has made him one of the greatest offensive football minds the sport has ever seen.
Tom Moore will only be working through Training Camp, but he brings invaluable knowledge, professional leadership, and proven experience that not only have managed to earn him 4 AFC Championships and 3 Super Bowl Championships, but the means to help the Buccaneers add an NFC Championship to his already impressive and almost unmatched resume.
