The Buccaneers and Peyton Barber Agree to Terms

1 min read

Barber and the Bucs agree to a 1-year deal that will keep Barber as the lead back in 2019.

If Barber and the Bucs could not agree to terms, then Tampa would have placed a tender on him.

Peyton Barber led the Buccaneers in rushing during the 2018 season with 234 carries and 871-yards.

He signed with the Bucs as an undrafted free agent in 2016 and has since played in all but one game, starting in 21.

Barber has carried the ball 397 times for 1,517-yards and 9 TDs over the past three seasons.
