In a recent Tweet, Antonio Brown said goodbye to Steelers’ fans.
There is no question that Antonio Brown has been unhappy in Pittsburgh. Following a dramatic season, Brown was rumored to have requested a trade from the team he spent nine seasons with. Bleacher Report had just confirmed that he has formerly requested a trade.
It has been said that one of the main reasons for Brown’s trade request was due to issues between himself and Mike Tomlin. There were accounts of an altercation between the veteran receiver and veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, although the quarterback shrugged off the incident.
Recently, Brown had been found guilty in a reckless driving case that occurred in November of 2018. It was alleged that the wide receiver was speeding in excess of 100 MPH in a 45 MPH zone in rural Ross Township, Pennsylvania.
According to TMZ, the police were heading to a bank robbery call when they witnessed Antonio Brown’s Black Porsche speeding away from the crime scene location. He had nothing to do with that crime.
Antonio Brown did not appear in court today and was ordered to pay $426.77 in fines.
During his nine seasons with the Steelers, Brown played in 130 games recording 837 catches for 11,207 yards, and 74 TDs.
