Is This Jason Licht’s Last Stand?

I, as well as many more Bucs fans, were shocked when we heard the news that Jason Licht was going to be retained as the Buccaneers GM. I thought it was sure a thing that both Koetter and Licht were going to be let go due to the Bucs not making the playoffs again.
I think this has to be Jason Licht’s last chance.
After opening up the checkbook to get one of the best coaches on the market in Bruce Arians, if it still doesn’t work and the Bucs miss out on the playoffs yet again, then it should be crystal clear that the problem is not coaching, but the player personnel. That falls squarely on the shoulders of Jason Licht.
Sure, I’ll give credit where credit is due, such as drafting Jameis Winston, Mike Evans, Kwon Alexander, Chris Godwin, and Ali Marpet. But as the saying goes, “Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.”
Any ole’ Joe Schmoe off the street could have drafted those guys they were that obvious.
However, there have been too many misses, and now he has to make it work, or this will be his final season in Tampa Bay.
