The word on the street is that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are willing to $10 million per year to the right person to take the job as the new head coach.

The Buccaneers have already interviewed Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Vikings’ offensive George Edwards for the position. There have been speculations that Bruce Arians may be linked to the job due to his connection with Jason Licht and it has been said that Arians is interested. The Buccaneers and Arians are rumored to be meeting soon.

It had also been whispered by several insiders to a couple of media sources including ourselves that we will know who the new head coach will be by next Tuesday. The wait leads many to believe that the Buccaneers are waiting until after this weekend to interview a coach. Meaning we are looking at coaches who are currently in the playoffs. It’s no secret that the Buccaneers have requested an interview with Dallas Cowboys defensive back coach Kris Richards, but our sources say there is an interest in another defensive coordinator. One that has yet to be announced.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ fans should get ready for a SPLASH hire.
