Buccaneers Make Multiple Practice Squad Moves

1 min read

Today, the Buccaneers announced that they signed LB Elijah Ponder to the practice squad. Ponder was with the team through training camp and preseason and signed yesterday as a replacement for LB LaDarius Hamilton, who was signed by the Green Bay Packers last week.

Additionally, Greg Auman of The Athletic is reporting that the team has released CB Herb Miller from the practice squad and signed five-year veteran CB Rashard Robinson. Robinson’s agent David Canter confirmed the news on twitter.

In his career, Robinson has two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and 85 combined tackles. Robinson was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2016 in the fourth round and played for Buccaneers Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles in 2017 and 2018 as a member of the New York Jets.
