Heading down the final stretch of the season, the Buccaneers will be thin at the wide receiver position. The Bucs will be without their star receiver Mike Evans, who suffered a serious Hamstring pull in week 14, and rookie Scotty Miller, who is also dealing with a Hamstring issue and could be missing more time.

The Bucs recently activated wide receiver Ishmael Hyman to the 53 man roster to give Tampa four available pass-catchers heading into the Motor City. Hyman’s promotion from the practice squad left an available spot for newly signed rookie wide receiver Trevion Thompson.

Thompson, a 2019 undrafted Free Agent out of Clemson University, signed a three year $1.755 million contract with the Chargers shortly after the draft. He was later placed on the Chargers’ IR with an undisclosed injury and ultimately waived with a settlement.
